BAKED SALTED PECANS

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (16 oz.) pecan halves
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 4 tsp butter (or to taste)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Wash and drain pecan halves.

Melt butter in large shallow pan in oven.

Spread the moist nuts in a single layer in a prepared pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly with salt; stir well to coat evenly.

Bake, stirring frequently until nuts are brown – about 26 minutes. Set timer to check nuts every 8 to 10 minutes, as nuts will overcook quickly.
