JALAPENO PIMENTO CHEESE

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Blue Plate mayonnaise
  • 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimento, drained
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 (8-ounce) block extra-sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 (8-ounce) block sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, pimento, jalapenos, Worcestershire sauce, onion and red pepper. Stir in cheeses until thoroughly mixed.

Serve with crackers or on loaf bread as small sandwiches.

May be stored in refrigerator up to 1 week.
